After watching Mars(2016), I asked my 6-year-old son, who wanted to become an astronaut since 3, if he still wants to be an astronaut.
He answered affirmatively.
I looked at him with tears in my eyes, ‘you could die like him.‘
I can see tears pouring out of his eyes. ‘ yes, but everyone will die.’
‘But I’d like you live rather than die as an hero.’
He hugged me back closely and murmured to my ears ‘I know it,daddy.’
We can’t help ourselves crying.
My wife relaxedly watched all this and apathetically said, ‘ well, is Mars a documentary or a fictional story?’
